Biography
25-35 Doon has a wealth of TV experience, with 3 series of the award winning Smack the Pony, which she also co-wrote, for Channel 4, 2 series of Beast for BBC1 and Brass Eye? and a regular on The Comic Strip Presents for BBC2. Extraordinarily versatile, excellent with comedy or tongue-in-cheek scripts, she is also an expert with characters and accents. Alongside her accomplished work in animations such as Stressed Eric, Bob & Margaret and Bromwell High, she has also written and appeared in her own show, Doon Your Way, for BBCRadio 4. You may have witnessed Doon's singing voice come to life on BBC1's Comic Relief Does Fame Academy. She recently appeared in Gladiatress an 'off-the-wall comedy movie' from the Smack the Pony girls, and has just played opposite Robert Lindsay's Tony Blair as Cherie in A Very Social Secretary. Doon's latest drama on Radio 4 is Confessions of a Bad Mother.
