40s - A wonderfully intuitive and versatile actor - most recently on your sccreens as Jim Riley in Life of Riley, a comedy series for BBC 1, and Roman Pretty in Roman's Empire also a comedy series, for BBC 2. Other recent work includes Jimmy McGovern's The Street a drama series for BBC 1, Survivors for BBC 1 and Silent Witness for ITV. His many talents come to the fore in two series of both Common as Muck and Out of Blue and three series of Messiah. Also excellent as Diana Rigg's chauffeur and side kick in The Mrs Bradbury Murders.
